On this full roof replacement and gutter installation project in West Berlin, NJ, ACC Roofing and Siding removed the existing shingles down to a clean roof deck. For underlayment, WeatherLock® Mat Ice & Water Barrier was installed on the eaves, valleys, and wall transitions, while ProArmor® Synthetic Underlayment was applied over the remaining deck surface. A new C-style 4 ½” drip edge was installed along the roof perimeter. Owens Corning TruDefinition® Duration® Architectural Shingles in Slatestone Gray were then installed, providing durable and visually appealing coverage. To improve ventilation, an attic fan was added to one section of the roof, while a VentSure® Stick Ridge Vent was installed on another for enhanced airflow. DuraRidge® Hip & Ridge Shingles were used for the ridge and hip areas, offering added protection and a clean finish. All new step flashing and counter flashing were installed as needed to ensure proper water diversion and sealing. Finally, the gutter system was replaced with all-new 5” seamless white aluminum gutters in a K-style (5K) profile.
